8 November 2013: Waves 18, Nutcracker.
It was a rather impromptu outing as both Jia Hui and I got the tickets for SP SDZ's performance tickets just two days before their act. The sole reason for us to turn up for their performance was that Jing Yi is one of their dancers. HAHAAHA. Not forgetting Gabriel! ^-^
Our initial plan was to meet each other up at Bugis by 4PM because I had facial before that. However, we postponed the timing to 4.30PM followed by 5PM 'cause Jia Hui was late, hehehe. LOL. I think we ought to cultivate the habit of being punctual. Teehee. :P
We spent a long time discussing/debating over what to have for dinner via Whatsapp. We considered heading for Ajisen Ramen, The Soup Spoon, etc. So, the first thing that we did upon meeting up was to have our dinner. Ultimately, we dined at Pastamania.
Turkey Bacon Cheesy Crumble
Chicken Cheese Salsiccia
We thought we had sufficient spare time in hand, hence, we made our way to Bugis Street. LOL. We spent more time than we should there, so.... :P So, we were a little late for the performance. We reached only at 7.35PM, yes, we were late for 5 mins. HAHA. We took cab to the venue because we realised that we were running out of time, bleh. Hehe.
Camwhoring noisily in the cab. >:)
Just as we expected and thought, we were a little late for the performance. HAHA. Please don't murder us, Jingyi,. :P
We took this while making our way from Kallang Indoor Stadium to Kallang Theatre. LOL.
Apparently, we got our venues mixed up. So... Hehehe.
We thought of buying a stalk of Sunflower for Jing Yi. But we have totally forgotten about it and only remembered it while we were watching their performance. Oh well.... So, right after the performance, we rushed off to meet Jing Yi and to take some pictures with her. Hehee. I know, I know, we love taking pictures 'cause this is what usually girls do. ;)
Yours truly with the adorable little girl! ♡
Jia Hui and Jing Yi!
Our princess. HAHA.
After we've taken some pictures with the busy girl, we braved through the drizzle and tried looking for gift stores, etc. But to no avail, WE TRIED OKAY. :( We, then, headed back to the nearest MRT station and waited for Jing Yi. HAHAHA, as expected, Jing Yi told us to not wait for us as she'd be going off with her friends. TSK TSK, we were so disappointed in her. JUST KIDDING, HAHA. You know we love you. ♡ :)
Taking pictures in the rain 'cause we can. LOL.
We decided to go back home after which as Jia Hui has yet to submit her ITB work. HAHAHA. Poor girl, but I'm glad that she got back home in time for the submission. :P
To sum up, Nutcracker was a success. They had dope props and effects/lightings. The dancers did a remarkable job! I enjoyed the show thoroughly, and I am definitely looking forward to Waves 19! HAHAHA.
