This particular (zoo) outing didn't go as planned, tsk. WANNA KNOW WHY?!?! HAAHA, it was because Sapol and I were the only ones who turned up for the 'outing'.
Wanna know a fun fact? HAHA. Even lazy bums like us made our way to the zoo from Ang Mo Kio as early as 10AM. This is definitely an accomplishment in a way or another, bleh!
Wanna know another fun fact? The battery of my camera almost died on me while I was taking pictures. BOOO. :(
Here's my selfie to start off this entry! HAHAHA.
We managed to attend for all of the morning shows - Splash Safari, Animal Friends, Elephants at Work & Play, Rainforest Fights Back. I won't say the shows were as appealing as I expected it to be, but it did manage to capture my divided attention for quite some time! Hahaha! The show that I enjoyed most was Rainforest Fights Back. :P
We didn't purchase the ticket admission with tram, so we had to travel by feet. We walked about the zoo for close to 5 hours and decided to call it a day because the Sun was scorching hot. To be more precise, the Sun was as hot as Vanessa Hudgens. Hahaha! In fact, we almost gave up halfway through the journey because of the weather. Truth to be told, we kept heading back to the Frozen Tundra zone, where the polar bear and some other animals are located at, to cool ourselves down from the blazing heat. LOL. Despite the ridiculously warm weather, we pressed on and visited (almost) all of the habitats. The habitats that we gave a miss were that of the naked mole rats, sun bears and etc.
In summary, the animals that got most of my attention were the otters, penguins, white tiger and polar bear. Hehehe. To be honest, I was quite worried that the monkeys and apes would pee or shit on me..... But oh well, thank God they did not. LOL.
I shall now end this entry with some 'artistic' candid shots! HAHA. These shots are really candid okay!! Nevertheless, it was a great day!
