Just a few weeks back, the Banking and Financial Services'(DBKF) year 2 students went on an excursion to Citibank of various locations! Some of my peers were allocated to the branch at Paragon and Jurong East respectively, while some of my other peers and I got assigned to the branch at Capital Square. I was absolutely delighted to be allocated to the same venue as Alvin, Cecilia, Wen Long, Jia Hui, Sapol, Gabriel, Guo Kai, Kenneth and Dylan! Hehehe. Wanna know why? We could spend some quality time together after the excursion!! HAHAHAHA. In fact, we did and I will be telling you guys more about it in a bit. :P
Anyhow, I've learned that Citibank has different types of wealth banking - Citibank, Citigold, Citigold Private Client (if I remembered correctly). On top of that, the clients of the respective types of wealth banking will be entitled to different levels of privileges. Let's play a guessing game, please guess which type of wealth banking I am most fond of? AHAHAHA. *Drum rolls* I am most fond of Citigold Private Client (duh), mainly because of the kind of services they receive and such. Hahaha. Well, that's totally understandable as those clients are the ones who are injecting most money into the bank. Hence, they ought to receive the 'better' sort of 'service. "It's definitely good to be served than to serve." Couldn't recall who said this, but yeah, it's just so damn true.
Featuring the new faces on my blog: Wang Yi, Evangeline. HAHA. Took a group photo with the both of them and Jia Hui!
After the excursion, #nfns (Only Wen Long, Sapol, Guo Kai, Kenneth, Alvin, Cecilia, Jia Hui, Rick and Denzel showed up though) decided to dine together! We had our dinner at The Cathay's Eighteen Chefs. As usual, the session was filled with laughter. Just plain joy and happiness, to be exact. Really, I have so much love for #nfns. They're so special to me. They make school so much more bearable and fun. I can't imagine school without them, not at all. Also, they are really nice people. Just tell me, where can I ever find such fun loving and kind people ever? HAHAHAHA.
P/S: We split into two groups, so.. Guo Kai and co. could not join us in our photo-taking session. HAHAHA.
My happy pills *u*
In all honesty, I learned so much from that trip, for it was really insightful. What I really liked about the trip was that the staffs were generous with their knowledge; they shared so much information on their jobscope as well as their day-to-day activities. I've also realised how fond and interested I am of the banking industry. Oh, and I found it quite a smart move to bond their staff every single day before they get cracking on their work. I am certainly looking forward to more of such trips in the near future!!
On the side note, EXAMS ARE OVER. YAYYYYY. Hehehe. Till then, my readers. X
